This week we carry on with part 2 of our beginners talks.
Mike will be talking about planispheres.
Jim will be looking at different types of telescopes.
and Dave Smith will be talking about variable stars.
If it is clear we will be observing, please bring your telescopes along just in case.

This week is the first of our series of short 20 min beginners talks.
Ed will be talking about double stars using his famous props. Mike will be showing us how to find objects in the night sky use simple star charts and planispheres.
Jim will be talking about how to set up and use Dobson and equatorial mounted telescopes. Alan will be showing us how to observe the sun using projection and simple filters.
